A) Installation - top
- Log in to your WordPress site admin.
- Open "Plugins" –> "Add New" page.
- Choose the "Upload".
- Click "Browse" and select the zip file for "Map’n’Points. Premium Store Locator for Wordpress".
- Click "Install Now".
- Once the plugin is uploaded and installed choose Activate Plugin.
B) How to add map to the page - top
Use shortcode [plumo_mapnpoints] in your post or page. Also you can use Map’n’Points button in WYSIWYG editor.
C) Points - top
After plugin installation you have new item in your WordPress admin panel menu - "Map'n'Points". Use the sub-menu "Points" to edit the list of the points.
Points are displayed on map as marker and in list. All points have a set of fields (address, phone number, opening times, etc). Point belongs to the sections and have one of the types.
To add new point press "Add new" button in header of the page. To edit some point - place your mouse over the list item and click "Edit" (to delete point, use the appropriate button).

D) Sections - top
Most often (but not always), sections are used for the separation points by countries, cities and districts. Sections are displayed in select box and work as a switch set points of different types are displayed in the list and on the map.
After plugin installation you have new item in your WordPress admin panel menu - "Map'n'Points". Use the sub-menu "Sections" to edit the list of the sections.
To add new section press "Add new" button in header of the page. To edit some section - place your mouse over the list item and click "Edit" (to delete section, use the appropriate button).
On the add (or edit) page, you should input the following fields: active (checkbox), sorting, title.
After adding a section here, you can specify it for points. In addition, you can quickly add a new section using the point add/edit form.
E) Types - top
Types allow you to display different point markers on a map. Types (marker and captions for it) also displayed in map legend. Legend work as points filter in one section. For example, you can use this functionality for the separation stores and service center of same network and display it by different markers. And sections you can use for separation points by the countries, cities and districts (higher levels of grouping).
After plugin installation you have new item in your WordPress admin panel menu - "Map'n'Points". Use the sub-menu "Types" to edit the list of the types.
To add new type press "Add new" button in header of the page. To edit some type - place your mouse over the list item and click "Edit" (to delete type, use the appropriate button).

F) Design - top
After plugin installation you have new item in your WordPress admin panel menu - "Map'n'Points". Use the sub-menu "Design" to customize style of map and list.
On this page you can easy customize design of map and list:
- Colors. Next to each field signed for any elements used by this color. You can modify the style of the plugin for your Wordpress theme. Also, we have prepared for you a few color schemes: gray, green, purple, dark.
- Infobox title align. This setting determines the alignment of the point title in the header of infobox.
- Layout. You can choose one of three options: a list on the left of the map, a list of the right of the map, the list below the map. We recommend using a third layout for themes with a small width.
- Display elements. You can customize the style of the list: whether to display the photo for each point, display information with the address, such as whether to show a marker on top of the photo.
G) Technical details (for advanced users) - top
The design settings for the plugin stores in the database. Each time you save settings plugin automatically generates CSS file that is used on the pages with map.
So if you want to manually customize the CSS, you should use the file "custom.css" ([plugin_path]/css/custom.css) This file is automatically activated after file are generated and can override any styles.
